Embrace Your Pain Without Being Imprisoned by It
Re-entry after a flare, pacing, or grounding through sensation.
Pain is part of us, but not all of us. For the moments when coming back to yourself feels hard. Let this be a return, not to what was, but to what is: A body still moving, still trying, still yours...
When a flare sets in, pause.
Place your hands on your body,
feel what's there - not to fix, but to meet.
Like stillness before a storm,
there's wisdom in waiting.
Walk slowly and feeling each step.
Not to "move past" pain, but to move with it.
The ground carries the weight of mountains,
without effort and so can you.
After a hard moment, ground yourself.
Press your palms into the earth and breathe.
You are still here. Still present.
Still capable of healing, in your own season.
